From a humble beginning comes a great success – this summarizes Maureen’s journey to opening this Earth and ocean precious gem jewelry boutique in the Big Island of Hawaii. Handmade with love, all these elegant and simple finds are designed with Tahitian Pearls, Freshwater Pearls, Semi-Precious Gemstones, Quartz Druzy, and Natural Stones.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Maureen knows life’s hardship better than anyone else. Struggling from financial incapacities all her life pushed her beyond her limits, starting at a tender age. From selling candies and snacks to makeup and clothing and working in a fast-food chain, she never stopped herself from persevering.

She began her journey by crafting pieces of Swarovski crystals in gold-filled ensembles way back in 2008 in the Philippines.

Moving to Hawaii in 2012 brought her the greener pasture when she started selling handcrafted cheap statement earrings and plated and synthetic metallic ensembles in Hawi Farmer’s Market. Starting humbly again, Maureen, together with her husband, used a refurbished old table and metal chair they found in their storage.

After a while, she began investing in premium materials and started handcrafting pieces-after-pieces. She started using natural stones and gold-filled and sterling silver metallic embellishments. Surprisingly, her boutique was an instant hit opening many doors of opportunities for her to enhance her skills and broaden up the horizon for her business.

Maureen was able to attend the Tucson Gem Show in the winter of 2016. The following year, she participated in the Hong Kong Gem Show. All these to give nothing but the best to her supportive and loving customers. The latter event gave her a chance to source exquisite and unique materials from Hong Kong and Bangkok.

The hardship Maureen had to endure in the past made her who she is now. Even with success, she is still the humble Maureen the customers loved and supported.

Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.
